Terms of sale

Scope

These terms apply to purchase contracts concluded through skatetechpro.com: SHOOTER orders paid with an online deposit and orders from the catalogue. They apply to business customers (buyers acting for their trade, business or profession, for example clubs, training centres and companies) and to consumers (natural persons buying outside their trade, business or profession).

The following apply only to consumers: the right of withdrawal (section 6), the model withdrawal form (appendix), the 30-day deadline for settling complaints and alternative dispute resolution. The cancellation terms in section 7 apply only to business customers. Everything else applies to both.

Orders and conclusion of the contract

SHOOTER with an online deposit

If online payment is offered on the SHOOTER page, you order with the order button and pay the deposit through Stripe Checkout. Before paying you see the total price, the deposit, the tax calculated for your address and these terms, which you must accept. The contract is concluded when the deposit is paid and we confirm the order to your e-mail address. The confirmation states the ordered goods, the deposit paid and the next steps.

If online payment is not available, you can send an order request through the form on the SHOOTER page. Such a request is not yet a contract: we send you the order confirmation, the shipping price and the invoice by e-mail, and the contract is concluded with our confirmation of the order.

Catalogue orders

In the catalogue you fill in the order form with your billing details and send it. We then send you an automatic e-mail with a summary of the order and the details for a bank transfer; this e-mail confirms that we received the order. Our team then confirms delivery and the final total including VAT and shipping by e-mail. The contract is concluded with this confirmation. If we cannot accept the order, we tell you by e-mail and refund anything you have already paid.

We keep the order and our confirmation; you receive a copy by e-mail.

Prices and payment

Prices on skatetechpro.com are in euros and exclude VAT. VAT is added according to the law: buyers in Slovakia pay Slovak VAT; consumers in another EU country pay VAT at the rate of their country (one-stop shop, OSS); businesses in another EU country with a valid VAT ID are not charged VAT (reverse charge); for deliveries outside the EU no EU VAT is charged, and customs duties and import taxes of the destination country are not included in the price.

SHOOTER

The price of SHOOTER is €21,500 excl. VAT. €26,445 incl. 23 % VAT (SK). In other EU countries the local rate applies; businesses with a VAT ID from another EU country pay no VAT on delivery to their country. If online payment is offered, you pay a deposit of 30 % of the price excl. VAT, plus VAT where it applies, through Stripe (by card). Stripe sends you the invoice for the deposit. When SHOOTER is ready for dispatch, we invoice the rest of the price and shipping; the invoice is due within 14 days and we dispatch after it is paid.

Catalogue orders

Catalogue orders are paid by bank transfer to the account stated in the order e-mail, with the order number as the variable symbol. The final total including VAT and shipping is the one in our order confirmation.

Delivery and transfer of risk

We deliver to these countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States.

SHOOTER is delivered within 6–8 weeks from order confirmation. For catalogue orders we confirm the delivery time with the order.

Shipping is not included in the price. It is invoiced according to the delivery country: for SHOOTER with the invoice for the rest of the price, for catalogue orders in the order confirmation.

For consumers, the risk of loss of or damage to the goods passes when you, or a person you name other than the carrier, take physical possession of them. For business customers, it passes when the goods are handed over to the first carrier.

Right of withdrawal (consumers only)

As a consumer you may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days. The period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person you name other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. You may also withdraw before delivery.

To withdraw, send us a clear statement before the period ends, by e-mail to info@hockeydts.com or by post to the address in section 1. You may use the model form in the appendix, but you do not have to. Sending your statement before the period ends is enough.

If you withdraw, we refund all payments received from you, including the deposit and the cost of standard delivery, within 14 days of the day we receive your withdrawal. We use the same means of payment you used, unless we agree otherwise; you pay no fees for the refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have shown that you sent them back, whichever is earlier.

Send the goods back to us without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of withdrawing. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. SHOOTER weighs about 68 kg and ships on a pallet, so it cannot be returned by normal post. We estimate this cost at no more than €500 for a return from within the EU and €2,000 from outside the EU. You are liable only for a diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

If you chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer, we refund only the cost of the least expensive standard delivery.

Cancellation by business customers

Business customers have no statutory right of withdrawal. A business customer may cancel a SHOOTER order by e-mail to info@hockeydts.com. If the cancellation reaches us before we have ordered production from our supplier, we refund the deposit in full. Once production has been ordered, we keep the deposit as a cancellation fee.

A business customer may cancel a catalogue order at any time before the goods are dispatched, by e-mail to info@hockeydts.com; we refund any amount already paid in full. After dispatch, a cancellation is only possible by agreement with us. Consumers keep their statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days, as described above.

Warranty and complaints

For consumers, we are liable for defects that appear within 24 months of receiving the goods (statutory guarantee). For business customers, we give a 24-month warranty on SHOOTER from delivery; for catalogue goods we state the warranty period in the order confirmation.

How to file a complaint

Send your complaint to info@hockeydts.com with the order number, a description of the defect and, if possible, photos or a video. We confirm receipt by e-mail. If we need the product or a part of it, we tell you how to send it.

We settle a consumer's complaint, including remedying the defect, within 30 days of it being filed. We tell you the result by e-mail.

The warranty does not cover normal wear or damage caused by improper installation, use or maintenance contrary to the instructions.

Disputes and governing law

If you are a consumer and are not satisfied with how we handled your complaint, or believe we have violated your rights, you can first ask us for a remedy at info@hockeydts.com. If we reject your request or do not reply within 30 days, you can submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia, https://www.soi.sk) or another authorised body.

The European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.

These terms and the contracts under them are governed by Slovak law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually reside. The Slovak version of these terms is legally binding.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. Your order is governed by the terms in force when you sent it.
